The Best Gift I Ever Got

Mac Daddy and the boys gave me this bracelet for my birthday last week. It has my sons’ names and a small drawing on it representing their nicknames (Bird and Deal). When I tore into the silver and black box and saw the bracelet I positively SWOONED. I declared it was my most favorite present I had ever gotten in my entire life. I immediately put it on and marveled at its beauty. What a special gift! I am over-the-moon in love with this piece of jewelry and shall treasure it.

What’s so cool is that I had pinned this on Pinterest almost a year ago. Mac Daddy must have snooped around my Pinterest boards to find this. Let this be a lesson, friends. Pinterest can be your very own wish list and make gift giving oh so much easier for the people who love you.

You have time to order a bracelet like mine or something special for yourself or for someone you love. This is not a sponsored post, and I’m not getting any kick backs or anything. I just happen to ADORE the work of  Surfing Silver. Her work is gorgeous, and her service is unparalleled, on Etsy or otherwise. Please go check out her site and see all the magnificence there. I am just beside myself over the handwritten messages she can put on jewelry. As a writer, a lover of words, a saver of handwritten notes, this is simply the perfect gift. Oh, and the kids’ artwork dangling on a chain just near my heart… Hold me.

I am not the creative type. I wonder if you would consider a book titled “A mom and her two boys – Growing up together”. You already have a wealth of contemporaneously written episodes that should be of interest to a niche publisher or editor . Or even a self published short book marketed by Amazon?
