Type A POM – 5:00 Fridays

I’m hanging with a whole host of cool moms this weekend at the TypeAMom Conference. This is my favorite blog conference since it’s small, and therefore intimate. Instead of a “Hey, howya doin’?” yelled across a hotel ballroom, the meetings and greetings involve hugs, time for a real chat over a cup of coffee or glass of wine, and a lot of chill time. The sessions are small so you actually see the presenters, ask questions, and talk amongst yourselves. It’s a real treat to find a conference that is the perfect blend of socializing and learning.

And this year I’ll be presenting. Come see me if you want to learn more about how to manage your brand online and offline or if you want to gab about food.

Or just shout out if you want to grab a drink. You’ll likely find me with some of the funniest, smartest, coolest women around. Deb. Caroline. Cecily. And a lotta other talented writers, photographers, business owners, artists, moms…and dads. I swear, Type A Mom is a love fest of me swooning over all the blog crushes I’ve been harboring all these years.

Type A POM

2 ounces POM Wonderful pomegranate juice (The new pomegranate cranberry would be lovely too!)

1 ounce vanilla vodka

1 ounce ginger ale

lime wedge

Get yourself a tall glass. Plink in some ice cubes. Pour in some vanilla vodka. Add the OJ. Top with ginger ale. Squeeze in some fresh lime (never the plastic bottle shaped like a lime stuff!). Ah, so refreshing on this gloriously fall day with temps in the um, 90s. Yeah, well, aside from that, drink up the Type A POM and cool off. And chill out.
