It’s no wonder the inimitable New York Public Library is looking to North Carolina State University’s Hunt Library for innovation inspiration. The place is magnificent.
#1 on our annual Summer Adventure List is the Hunt Library. It didn’t disappoint. The boys and I headed over there, books in hand, to explore and read. We all have our favorite places to curl up and read at home but we needed a change in scenery. The library is just a couple miles from our house so it’s an easy trek. We didn’t know what to expect, and truth be told, I was secretly hoping this wasn’t going to be lame. Suffice it say that we were wowed to the Nth degree. The design is flat out mouth agape awe inspiring. The natural light is radiant, and the array of seating is unparalleled. We want to move in to the Hunt Library for the seating options alone.
And now my sons think all college libraries are this cool.
