Diaper Train in Need of Diapers!

Ilinap · June 24, 2013 ·

The Diaper Train of Wake County is completely out of diapers sizes 4, 5 and 6!

They are turning away families who are in desperate need of clean diapers. Can you imagine not having clean diapers for your baby? This is not a time to be judgmental. When children are suffering, the community needs compassion. The babies of this world do not choose their station in life. SAFEchild, where I serve on the board, is a partner agency for The Diaper Train. SAFEchild, “Stop Abuse For Every” child, is Wake County’s only non-profit agency providing direct services to children and families to eliminate child abuse. Tell me there isn’t a day you don’t read about child abuse in the news.

Heartbreak is ubiquitous, but so are big hearts.

Please donate diapers (NOT Pull Ups) in sizes 4, 5, and 6 as soon as possible! You can drop off diapers at The Diaper Train’s office at Saint Saviour’s Center located in downtown Raleigh at 616 Tucker Street during regular business hours.

From Saint Saviour’s website: “Our programs focus on health and wellness for babies and older adults. Without support from others, these age groups are most vulnerable to poverty, illness and neglect. We honor them by caring for their needs in tangible ways.“
