I’m taking you on a different path for today’s 5:00 Fridays. I want to share the coolest wine glass that is basically a sippy cup for grown ups. Vine 2GO. Unbreakable and spillproof. Ingenius. This is one of those why-didn’t-I-think-of-that products. My friend Chase (who by the way, has excellent taste…it’s a score to be on her gift list) gave this tumbler to me for my birthday. I’m sipping a little Mermelada Sassy Red. You are what you drink so I’ll blame the wine for my disposition. The wine is on the sweet side, but after my sour week, I needed a dose of sweetness. This is a wine I would use for sangria or festive fall mulled wine. Like I said, it leans to the sweet side so I think it would be best blended with other flavors. It would be pretty spectacular reduced into a sauce for some grilled carnivorous dining too. My book club weighed in on Mermelada and liked it so I barely had enough to save for myself. Cheers!
