People everywhere from West Podunk to the people who live under a proverbial rock have heard the news. Steve Jobs died. The icon who made icons and apps ubiquitous. The man who showed us that style and functionality are not mutually exclusive. He touched even me, a decidedly un-techie kind of girl.
It’s only fitting to raise our glasses to Steve Jobs today.
Apple of My Eye
1 ounce Absolut Orient Apple vodka
1 ounce Skyy ginger infused vodka
3 ounces orange juice
1 teaspoon ginger simple syrup
thin slice of apple
Add vodka to a rocks glass filled with ice. Top with orange juice. Stir in ginger simple syrup. Drop in apple slice.
Now crank up some music on your iPod, connect with friends on your iPad, and then shut it all down to really connect with the people who make you sing.
Sigh.
