Interview with a Bird

Tell me what you think of the nickname Bird.
Eyebrows raised, snicker starting…
I kinda like it. I kinda don’t like it. It can be annoying because kids at school call me that. It reminds me of when I was younger and I think about what I looked like eating out of a syringe.

What’s your favorite food?
Coconut pie and lobster rolls and sushi

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A professional baseball player and an architect when I retire from baseball

What are some places you want to visit?
India, Canada, South Korea, Japan

What was your favorite thing about visiting Italy last year?
The food…and gelato!

Do you wish you had more brothers or a sister?
I wish I had an older brother.

What about sisters?
Nah.

Who’s the funniest person you know?
Miss Kris (preschool teacher from 5 years ago!)

What do you think is the most annoying thing in the world?
Deal

What do you like to do?
Play baseball, any sports really, card games and board games, swimming

What do you like to read?
Chapter books — Kate DiCamillo, Dan Gutman, Lee Wardlaw, Roald Dahl, sports books, especially books about great players and things from the old days

Cake or pie?
Pie

Crunchy or creamy peanut butter?
Creamy

What do you like best about yourself?
My athletic abilities

What three things would take with you to a desert island?
A baseball bat, a lifetime supply of water, a lifetime supply of peaches…I can throw the peaches in the air to use as a baseball!

Do you secretly wish your mom let you eat junk food and packed you a Lunchable once in a while?
Junk food, yes, but not Lunchables…but now it’s not secret

What junk food would you want?
Stuffed crust pepperoni pizza, Doritos, Snickers, and Twi

What are you going to be for Halloween this year?
Prince Fielder

Whom do you admire?
Rickie Weeks, because Daddy says he’s good at baseball and he’s really nice

Will you vote in every election once you turn 18?
Probably…

Are you ticklish?
Yes, very

What do you that makes your parents crazy but you think is funny?
Sitting on Deal’s face, making up crazy songs to annoy my brother…I don’t want to say anything more about that subject

Favorite Wii or DS game?
2K11 Baseball on DS and Madden NFL 11 Wii game

Do you have any signature dance moves?
No…I don’t even know what that means!

What’s your Just Dance specialty?
Pump Up the Jam…I crush my mom on that, FYI.

Who’s the coolest person you know?
Me

What do you like to watch on TV?
Supah Ninjas, Wipeout, Phineas & Ferb, Man vs. Food, Scream if You Know the Answer, Bizarre Foods

Would you rather have squirrels in your pants or eat what Andrew Zimmern eats?
Squirrels in my pants

    I called my 11 y.o. in to read this because he has the same Mario jammie pants. He also shares many of Bird’s opinions (except me guy thinks *he* is he coolest person).
